JUST IN: Parramatta eels head coach finally scheduled date for pre-season Camp against the 2025 NRL season…

The Parramatta Eels, under the leadership of newly appointed head coach Jason Ryles, have been diligently preparing for the 2025 NRL season. The team’s pre-season activities commenced on November 5, 2024, when Ryles led his inaugural training session at the club’s facilities. This initial phase focused on integrating emerging talents, with seasoned NRL players rejoining the squad in the subsequent weeks.

By January 10, 2025, the Eels had intensified their training regimen, with just over eight weeks remaining until their Round 1 match against the Melbourne Storm in Melbourne. The squad’s return to training marked a pivotal moment in their pre-season preparations, emphasizing both physical conditioning and strategic development.

A significant component of the Eels’ pre-season was a dedicated camp held in Lennox Head, commencing on January 19, 2025. This camp served multiple purposes: enhancing team cohesion, refining on-field strategies, and engaging in various team-building activities. The players participated in a mix of field sessions, gym workouts, conditioning drills, swimming, kayaking, and other group exercises designed to foster unity and resilience.

Throughout the camp, the team conducted open training sessions, attracting local supporters and providing fans with insights into the squad’s progress. These sessions featured a blend of skill drills, tactical scrimmages, and conditioning exercises, all aimed at fine-tuning the team’s performance ahead of the season’s commencement. Notably, new signings such as Zac Lomax and Josh Addo-Carr showcased their abilities, hinting at the enhanced capabilities they bring to the team’s roster.

The Lennox Head camp concluded with a light recovery session on January 25, 2025, after which the squad returned to their home base to continue preparations. The focus now shifts to the upcoming Pre-Season Challenge fixtures, where the Eels are scheduled to face the Newcastle Knights on February 14, 2025, at McDonald Jones Stadium in Newcastle, followed by a match against the Sydney Roosters on February 23, 2025, at Industree Group Stadium in Gosford.

These pre-season endeavors reflect the Eels’ commitment to a rigorous and comprehensive preparation strategy under Coach Ryles’ guidance. The combination of intensive training sessions, strategic planning, and team-building activities aims to position the Parramatta Eels as formidable contenders in the 2025 NRL season.
