Mitchell Moses Declares Dylan Brown a “Massive” Piece of Parramatta’s Premiership Puzzle

Parramatta Eels star halfback Mitchell Moses has heaped praise on his halves partner Dylan Brown, calling him a “massive” part of the team’s premiership aspirations. As the Eels aim to break their long-standing title drought, Moses highlighted Brown’s importance in steering the team towards success in 2025.

After a disappointing 2024 campaign that saw Parramatta miss the finals, the club is eager to bounce back stronger. With a talented roster, including Moses and Brown in the halves, the Eels have the potential to challenge the NRL’s top teams. Moses, who has formed a strong combination with Brown over the past few seasons, believes his teammate’s influence is crucial in the team’s attacking structure and defensive resilience.

“Dyl is massive for us,” Moses said. “He brings so much energy to the team, whether it’s in attack or defense. He’s got that X-factor that makes a huge difference in big moments.”

Since debuting in 2019, Brown has established himself as one of the NRL’s most dynamic five-eighths. His running game, playmaking ability, and defensive tenacity make him a key asset for the Eels. The New Zealand international has continued to develop under coach Brad Arthur, forming a strong partnership with Moses in the halves.

One of Brown’s standout traits is his ability to take pressure off Moses, allowing the halfback to play with more freedom. While Moses controls the kicking game and sets the tempo, Brown provides an unpredictable attacking threat, often breaking defensive lines with his speed and footwork.

Moses also emphasized Brown’s leadership growth in recent years. “He’s stepped up as a leader in our group,” Moses added. “He’s not just a young guy anymore—he’s someone the team looks to in key moments. When he’s at his best, we’re a much better side.”

With the Eels looking to return to the finals in 2025, Brown’s form will be a crucial factor in their campaign. If he and Moses can stay fit and fire throughout the season, Parramatta could emerge as a genuine premiership threat.

For now, the Eels are focused on pre-season preparations, with both playmakers determined to lead the team back into title contention.
