Wartovo Puara Jr., a foundational member of the PNG Hunters since their establishment in 2014, has announced his departure from the team to join the Agmark Gurias for the upcoming season. This decision was made with his family’s best interests in mind, reflecting his commitment to both his career and personal responsibilities.

Throughout his tenure with the Hunters, Puara has been instrumental in the team’s successes, including their 2017 Queensland Cup premiership victory.
