Hamiso Tabuai-Fidow has accepted a $140 million deal to join the Brisbane Broncos. In fact, in April 2023, Tabuai-Fidow extended his contract with the Dolphins, securing his position with the club until the end of the 2027 NRL season.
Since joining the Dolphins, Tabuai-Fidow has been a standout performer. He made history by scoring the first try in the Dolphins’ inaugural NRL match against the Sydney Roosters in March 2023. His consistent performance continued as he scored in each of the first six games of the season, a feat previously achieved only once in Australian Rugby League history.
His impressive form earned him a spot in the Queensland State of Origin team, where he scored two tries in the opening game of the 2023 series, contributing to Queensland’s 26–18 victory over New South Wales.
Given his current contract and pivotal role with the Dolphins, any reports suggesting a move to the Brisbane Broncos are unsubstantiated. Tabuai-Fidow remains a key player for the Dolphins as they continue to build their presence in the NRL.
