Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs halfback has joined the Penrith Panthers for the upcoming NRL season. Recent reports indicate that the Bulldogs have secured their halfback position by promoting Cassius Tia on a train and trial contract for 2025.
The Panthers have also been active in the player market, notably signing Blaize Talagi from the Parramatta Eels on a three-year deal starting in 2025. Talagi is anticipated to fill the void left by Jarome Luai, who is departing for the Wests Tigers.
Given these developments, it appears that both clubs have addressed their halfback needs through recent signings and promotions. Therefore, the prospect of a Bulldogs halfback transferring to the Panthers for the 2025 season seems unlikely at this time.
